Welcome to our 135 international engineering students!

On September 2, 2024, 135 international students entered our MSc in Engineering. In the coming weeks, Télécom Paris will also be welcoming international students to its Post-Master’s and to the Masters programs offered by the Institut Polytechnique (IP Paris) run by our School. International PhD students are enrolled throughout the year.

All the new engineering students were welcomed by the international relations department, the student union and the pedagogical coordinators on Monday Sept. 2. In the evening, they attended the official opening ceremony of the 2024/2025 academic year, hosted by Bertrand David, Dean of Studies. The integration process continues throughout the week with campus visits, registration procedures, information sessions and the Integration Weekend organized by the Student Union. Sports, language and cultural activities between French and international students are also on the agenda.

International engineering students join us through selective double degree partnerships, exchange programs and entrance exams. This year, they come from…

– Asia: Cambodia, China, Singapore, Vietnam
– Africa: Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, Morocco, Tunisia
– Europe: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Spain, Sweden
– Americas: Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay
– Middle East: Lebanon

These students, if they meet all the requirements of both Télécom Paris and their home university, will receive two degrees. Some will even receive three degrees if they choose to take an IP Paris Master’s degree in the third year of our engineering curriculum.
