Senior Lecturer at Télécom Paris, Image, Data, Signal Department – Multimedia Group Jean-Claude Moissinac has conducted research on advanced techniques for the production, transport, representation and use of multimedia documents. His work initially evolved towards the semantic representation of data related to multimedia (media processing processes, description of media adaptations, formal description of user interactions). Today, the work focuses on the constitution of knowledge graphs. Main current research topics: semantic representations of knowledge, constitution of knowledge graphs, automatic learning techniques on these graphs.
He conducts research on advanced techniques for the production, transport, representation and use of multimedia documents.
His current main research focus is on the exploitation of semantic web technologies in a variety of multimedia and other contexts of use.
Previously, he has had many activities at the junction of computer science and audiovisual production with strong skills on advanced techniques for the production, transport, representation and use of multimedia documents.
