Damien Stehlé is an adjunct professor at Télécom Paris and chief scientist of CryptoLab, a Seoul-based startup focusing on homomorphic encryption and its applications in confidential machine learning. He obtained his PhD at Université Nancy 1 in 2005. He has then been researcher at CNRS, and later professor in computer science at ENS Lyon (2012-2023).
Damien Stehlé studies the algorithmic aspects of Euclidean lattices and their applications in cryptography. He is a co-author of the Kyber encryption scheme and the Dilithium signature scheme, which have been selected by NIST (the American Institute for Standards and Technology) as standards for post-quantum cryptography.
