Christelle Aubert Hassouni obtained in April 2023 her Ph.D. in Management Sciences at ESCP Business School in Paris. Prior to that, she obtained a Master’s degree in Management from NEOMA Business School. She also has 15 years’ experience in businesses, marketing research and media audience measurement.
Her work focuses on the economic, managerial, and societal issues surrounding consumer privacy protection. She uses both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Christelle’s doctoral research looked at the cultural phenomena associated with user reactions to personal data breaches. She is also interested in the managerial issues involved in implementing regulations (for example, the role of DPOs in organizations). Finally, she explores how users’ concern for the protection of their privacy can impact on the adoption of new technologies and innovation processes. In this way, Christelle contributes to the academic community in management and marketing.
She is a member of the « Values and Politics of Personal Information » chair at the Institut Mines-Télécom, which tackles personal data issues from a variety of angles: legal, economic, technical and philosophical.
Teaching areas: Consumer behaviour, market research methods, societal issues relating to the protection of privacy.
