The Institut Polytechnique de Paris has made a considerable progress in the “Most International Universities in the World” 2023 ranking of the Times Higher Education (THE), moving up from 43^rd to 34^th (ahead of MIT and Harvard). It is the only French institution in the top 50.

The THE (Times Higher Education) ranks in 2021 Télécom Paris 2^nd best French engineering school, 5^th better French university and 6^th « best small university », and is ranked 101-125 (126-150 last year) in Computer Science, 101-125 in Physical Sciences, 126-150 (176-200 last year) in Engineering Technology.

The THE (Times Higher Education) World University Rankings includes almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries, standing as the largest and most diverse university rankings ever to date.
