Dryades, les ÉcoTechTalks de Télécom Paris

Sustainable finance was at the heart of the debates at the EcoTechTalks organised by the Dryades at Télécom Paris on 25 November 2024. This talk, brilliantly moderated by two students from Télécom Paris, Luka Judas and Pierre Monroux, provided an enriching forum on the challenges and prospects of green finance.

The panel of experts, comprising Matthieu Silvas Santos (Head of Offerings and SRI, Goodvest), Ariel Le Bourdonnec (Analyst, Reclaim Finance) and Imène Ben Rejeb-Mzah (Head of Climate Analytics and Alignment, BNP Paribas), addressed a number of themes. The state of play in the green finance sector was described with nuance, showing the progress made while highlighting the persistent challenges.

Finally, part of the discussions was devoted to the role of engineers in sustainable finance. The speakers emphasised the importance of technical and analytical skills in developing evaluation tools and proposing solutions tailored to today’s challenges.

The event ended with a question-and-answer session where members of the public were able to talk directly to the experts.

These discussions showed that sustainable finance is an essential lever for building a future that respects people and their environment.
