EuroTech Partner Days 2024: A Rewarding Gathering

Just before the EAIE 2024 conference in Toulouse, Télécom Paris had the honor of co-organizing the EuroTech Partner Days, held on September 13th at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris campus. A big thank you to Christine McDonald Levavasseur, Head of Europe and Mediterranean at École Polytechnique, for her unifying organization of this event.

This day was rich in discussions, marked by inspiring presentations and engaging feedback.

A campus lunch and a dinner cruise on the river Seine, in front of an illuminated Eiffel Tower still adorned with Olympic rings, provided additional opportunities for warm exchanges.

Special mention to Yang Liu, a PhD student at Télécom Paris, for his captivating and humorous testimony about his unique journey from China to France, with a stop in Japan.

In the afternoon, our guests had the opportunity to discover our school in a small group. A huge thank you to Stéphane Safin, Associate Professor in Cognitive Ergonomics, and Christelle Thomas, Diversity and Inclusion Delegate, for their stimulating presentation on the theme « Design & Inclusion » held in the Télécom Paris Design Studio.

We then reconnected with many partners at the EAIE conference from September 17 to 20, to further discuss current and future collaborations.

We now invite you from October 7 to 11, 2024 to our next major event organized by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris! The Interdisciplinary Center for Energy and Climate Change (E4C) will host a week dedicated to PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and Master’s students interested in pursuing a PhD. The theme will focus on smart grids, approached from an interdisciplinary perspective with researchers, industry leaders, and public authorities to explore the challenges and opportunities in this future-oriented field. An exciting week ahead!
