Living Lab: Supporting Citizens Involvement in the Chain of Survival
28 August 2023It has adapted a specific methodology known as the « living lab » to bring together and collaborate practitioners (doctors, operators, first responders and ambulance drivers) and citizens. The project is based on the assumption that the creation of a local community enables or improves digital trust and collaboration between citizens and practitioners. In this session at EENA (European Emergency Number Association) Conference, we present the main results of the project, and mainly the contributions of video in remote call taking and guidance and the creation of a local community of citizen rescuers.
Speakers: Caroline Rizza – Associate Professor at i3-Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, France; Ophélie Morand – Postdoctoral Researcher at Télécom Paris; Robert Larribau – Deputy Head of Emergency Department at Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland.
